How can Japan become a bigger player on the global film industry stage? This year’s seminar will focus on both promoting and protecting the content industry in Japan. We will present valuable information about how production incentives can stimulate the development of domestic and international content as well as international co-productions. The seminar will also discuss the status of online piracy in Japan and how site blocking, the most effective content protection tool, can be legislated and utilized effectively in Japan.
