Screening of "American Movie Night 2025" Held June.09.2025

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) and the Japan International Motion Picture
Copyright Association (JIMCA), with the cooperation of the Parliamentary League for
Promoting Contents Industry of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, hosted a screening
of the movie "Mission: Impossible: The Final Reckoning" (Japan release Friday, May 23,
2025).
We invited everyone related to the " Parliamentary League for Promoting Contents
Industry" of the Liberal Democratic Party, government officials involved in contents industry
administration, and people related to the film industry. At the screening, guests were able to
actually see Hollywood blockbusters that were filmed around the world over several years
and experience the sheer scale of the films.
The event started with a welcome speech by Urmila Venugopalan, President & Managing
Director of Motion Picture Association Asia Pacific, followed by a speech by Mr. Akira
Amari, Founder of the Parliamentary League for Promoting Contents Industry, Liberal
Democratic Party of Japan and former member of the House of Representatives, Mr.
Hiromichi Sato, Vice President, Paramount Global Content Distribution, Japan
Representative gave a speech with background of the film production.
